Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department and assists as needed to support smooth functioning.
  • Leads and supports the training process for the housekeeping staff, ensuring proper development and adherence to standards.
  • Establishes and maintains a high standard of cleanliness and service in guest rooms, suites, and corridors, meeting or exceeding guest.
  • Conducts and completes inspection reports to ensure consistency and quality of housekeeping services.
  • Ensures all floors and housekeeping staff are properly stocked with the necessary supplies and equipment, anticipating replenishment needs and coordinating timely restocking.
  • Stays knowledgeable about daily hotel operations by reviewing event sheets, bulletin boards, and updates to remain informed of new procedures, events, and changes.
  • Follows all company safety and security policies and procedures; reports accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions promptly; completes required safety training and certifications.
  • Develops and maintains positive working relationships with others, supports the team in reaching common goals, and listens and responds appropriately to the concerns of other employees.  
  • Ensures uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Maintains confidentiality of proprietary information.  
  • Performs other reasonable job duties as requested by the Manager/Director. 

Qualifications

  • Hospitality oriented 
  • Previous Housekeeping Management experience, min 2 years.
  • Must be able to bend, squat and stretch, lift weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Able to work quickly and efficiently, especially under pressure.
  • Able and willing to perform basic cleaning duties.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Fully bilingual (Spanish and English)
