Responsibilities

  • Greet and acknowledge all guests in line with company standards, proactively address their needs.
  • Oversee the training and development of all Room Attendants, ensuring they maintain the highest service standards.
  • Monitor and ensures all floors are properly stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Maintain the highest level of cleanliness and excellence in all guest rooms, conducting thorough inspections and completing detailed reports.
  • Ensures that all Lost & Found items are promptly turned in to the Housekeeping Coordinator daily.
  • Accurately manage and update the status of guest rooms.
  • Ensures housekeeping staff are working efficiently, providing them with all necessary supplies to meet guest needs.
  • Lead the team in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction, ensuring an outstanding guest experience.
  • Create staff schedules and assign tasks to ensure optimal shift coverage and efficiency.
  • Offer ongoing training, guidance, and constructive feedback to team members to improve performance.
  • Conduct regular room inspections to ensure the standards are being met consistently.
  • Handle guest complaints and concerns professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Oversee inventory management and replenishment of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Ensures that all cleaning procedures comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to maintain seamless operations.
  • Identify areas for improvement in both cleanliness and room maintenance.
  • Stay informed about daily hotel operations, events, and any new procedures by checking daily event sheets and bulletin boards.
  • Follow all company safety and security policies, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to supervisors.
  • Willing and capable of performing basic cleaning duties as needed.
  • Complete safety training and certifications. 
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support the team to reach common goals, listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. 
  • Ensures uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Perform others reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Hospitality-oriented
  • Previous experience in housekeeping, ideally within a hotel environment, min. 3 years.
  • Ability to bend, squat, stretch, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Flexible to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Able to handle difficult situations effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, ensuring efficient team collaboration.
  • Fully bilingual in Spanish and English.
