Steward Team Lead - La Concha Resort

• Execute essential stewarding tasks, including spot and deep cleaning, to maintain clean, organized, and well-maintained kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment.
• Distribute team activities, ensuring fair task distribution.
• Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels of cleaning supplies, utensils, and necessary materials.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on industry practices and standards, while fostering positive working relationships to achieve common goals.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Ensure confidentiality and protect company assets.
• Follow all company safety and security policies, regularly inspect work areas for safety risks or maintenance issues, and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to the supervisor.
• Oversee operations in the absence of management and perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

• Hospitality oriented.
• Previous experience, min. 1 year in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a high-volume kitchen environment.
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures in professional kitchens.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work variable hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to bend, squat, stand for long periods, stretch, reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and lift-up to 60 pounds.
• Must have good communication skills in Spanish and English.
