Responsibilities

  • Under the supervision of the supervisor, transport daily food and beverage deliveries from the loading dock to the designated storage areas. All items should be taken to the designated stores, where the supervisor will inspect them before they are distributed to the appropriate storage locations.

  • Responsible for cleaning the shelves and floor of the storeroom as well as all the walk-in coolers and freezers daily.

  • Responsible for stocking shelves in stores and transferring food from freezers to fridges.

  • Will issue inventory to all departments, but only where a signed requisition has been submitted.

  • Will deal with requisitions daily under control and supervision of the supervisor.

  • Assist the supervisor with conducting end-of-period inventory and performing a bi-weekly inventory using the Management Information System. 

  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.

  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to the supervisor.

  • Complete safety training and certifications. 

  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support the team to reach common goals.

  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

Qualifications

  • Hospitality oriented.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and have the ability to bend, stop and lift.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently.
  • Able to handle difficult situations effectively.
  • Prioritizing and organizing a variety of tasks and responsibilities.
  • Must have good communication skills in Spanish and English.
