Responsibilities

  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. 
  • Maintain an exceptional level of excellence in our guest rooms, suites, and corridors, ensuring that guests receive the highest standard of service that meets or exceeds both guest and management expectations.
  • Visually inspect guest rooms and public space to ensure everything is clean and in working order according to our brand standards.
  • Ensure the correct use of chemicals and cleaning supplies by overseeing their usage.
  • Ensure proper labelling of hazardous supplies in accordance with OSHA regulations.
  • Coordinate, prioritize and assign responsibilities to the housekeeping staff.
  • Record inspection results, resolve guest complaints and maintain accommodations standards.
  • Deliver amenities and help clean rooms as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by management.
  • Responsible for training of all Housekeeping Attendants.
  • Ensure all floors are stocked properly.
  • Complete inspection reports.
  • Knowledgeable about daily hotel operations, check daily event sheets, bulletin boards and be up to date with all changes, new procedures, and events. 
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to the Director of Housekeeping.
  • Complete safety training and certifications. 
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support the team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. 

Qualifications

  • Hospitality oriented 
  • Must be able to bend, squat, stretch, and lift weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Able to handle difficult situations effectively
  • Strong communication skills
  • Detail oriented and accurate in work
  • Able to work quickly and efficiently, especially under pressure
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English)
