Responsibilities

  • Responsible for generating reports from our Procurement analyzing various key data points, ensuring vendor and outlet compliance.
  • Support our purchasing strategy, assisting both procurement and finance leads in optimizing savings and efficiency across the procurement process.
  • Generate, analyze, and present regular reports from the eProcurement system to track purchasing trends, savings, and supplier performance.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance procurement operations.
  • Monitor vendor compliance with contracts, pricing, and delivery terms.
  • Ensure all outlets are adhering to company procurement policies and procedures, and provide guidance where discrepancies occur.
  • Assist in implementing and monitoring the company’s procurement strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Provide insights into cost-saving opportunities, alternative sourcing, and supplier negotiations.
  • Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the eProcurement system, ensuring accurate data input, system integrity, and resolving any system-related issues.
  • Work closely with procurement, finance, and other cross-functional teams to streamline procurement processes, monitor budget adherence, and ensure alignment between purchasing activities and financial goals.
  • Conduct research on new suppliers, market trends, and best practices in procurement to enhance the company’s sourcing capabilities.
  • Assist in supplier evaluations and negotiations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support the team to reach common goals, listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.

Qualifications

  • Hospitality oriented
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Finance, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, data analysis, or supply chain management, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Strong understanding of procurement systems and processes
  • Familiarity with eProcurement systems (experience with Clear Sky, Birch Street or Microsoft Dynamics is a plus)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate reports, and make recommendations based on findings
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices, vendor management, and cost control strategies
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with teams in finance, operations, and management
  • Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Fully bilingual (Spanish & English)
