Responsibilities

  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. 
  • Serve all beverage orders and water, ensuring that glasses are refilled as needed for all guests.
  • Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs. 
  • Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas. 
  • Complete closing duties.
  • Set up and maintain cleanliness and condition of the service area and restaurant.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. 
  • Check station assigned, prior to opening, for cleanliness of tables and chairs.
  • Responsible for  proper setup of the tabletop.
  • Prepared to answer guest questions about the menu in a direct, concise way.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to the supervisor.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support the team to reach common goals, listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. 
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors. 

Qualifications

  • Hospitality oriented
  • Previous experience as an attendant or in a similar role in a Fine Dining setting
  • Certification in Responsible Service of Alcohol or equivalent
  • Knowledgeable in the Step of Service (Fine Dining Standards) 
  • Knowledgeable of all menu items, their garnishes,contents and preparation methods
  • Able to handle difficult situations effectively
  • Able to work quickly and efficiently, especially under pressure
  • Must be able to lift to 25 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Fully Bilingual (Spanish and English)
