Responsibilities

  • Reports directly to the Marketing Director
  • Junior Host/Hostess is to greet and attend to customer immediate needs, both local and stateside.
  • Oversees supervising team members assigned to Marketing Department.
  • Assist with Casino Del Mar promotions and assist with all other duties assigned by the Marketing Director.
  • Have knowledge of the casino system.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of regulatory and compliance guidelines.
  • Assist in organizing special events.
  • Create monthly reports to track the success of promotions.
  • Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.
  • Ability to develop and implement successful marketing strategies.
  • Generate concepts for special events and activities to create memorable experiences for players.
  • Need to be good at handling time-sensitive projects and working to deadlines.
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager; and complete safety training and certifications.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.

Qualifications

  • Hospitality oriented
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Customer service / Marketing (hospitality industry experience essential)
  • Candidate must comply with and support the company’s responsible gambling policies, procedures, and initiatives.
  • Gaming industry experience is a plus.
  • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, strong leadership skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, good customer service skills and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to work proficiently quickly in a high-pressure & fast paced environment.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of internal information.
  • Fully Bilingual (Spanish/English).
