Responsibilities

  • To support the Spa Director/Manager and ensure the day-to-day operations of the fitness center and creative programs and activities for guests
  • To provide professional fitness experience to spa clients and guests.
  • To ensure all equipment is operational and ready for use. Report when equipment is down to management.
  • Maintains a monthly inventory of supplies, equipment, and or products
  • Provides excellent customer service and monitors guest feedback through the use of comment cards and other customer care techniques.
  • Ensures facility is only accessed by actual guests, and that it is safe and secure at all times.
  • Conducts or coordinates new user orientations including an introduction to the fitness center, facilities, services, programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Conducts personal fitness evaluations and program orientations for guests.
  • Responsible for up most level of cleanliness.

Qualifications

  • College degree in Physical Education or related field preferred
  • Certification from a nationally recognized agency such as ACE, AFFA, ASCM, NSCA, and NASM
  • Current first aid, CPR, and other safety certifications required.
  • Ability to demonstrate equipment use for exercise training.
  • Excellent client service, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and some holidays.
  • Flexibility to become cross-trained in other spa functions/services.
  • Must be certificate in at least two Fitness classes  Yoga (ashtanga yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Kundalini Yoga or any variation of yoga except aerial)or Pilates (mat) are a must, and/or  Cycling, Zumba, Boot Camp, or any other variety of fitness Classes.
  • Fully Bilingual a Must(Spanish/English)
