Responsibilities

  • The Sr. Marketing Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining marketing strategies to meet objectives and enhance the image of the Sportsbook. They will evaluate customer feedback, market conditions, and competitor information, to implement marketing strategies. The Marketing Manager will help coordinate and execute all marketing, advertising, promotional activities, and social media campaigns.
  • Work collaboratively with sportsbook partners and key stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the sports betting proposition.
  • Work collaboratively with the US based teams on long range and near-term marketing plans.
  • Ensure marketing priorities in Puerto Rico align to the overall business strategy.
  • Source, evaluate and execute new strategic internal and external marketing opportunities including partnerships.
  • Manage Omni Channel activations including regional events and promotions.
  • Ensure operational excellence for promotion execution and customer acquisition, retention, and management, working with US based teams.
  • Use data, customer, and research insights to ensure long term profitable growth of the business
  • Identify market conditions, key trends and operational issues that impact the business and ensure that decisions are made, and issues are solved in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of regulatory and compliance guideline.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned with the goal of driving KPIs for the business
  • Manage the brand agencies for additional collateral design, printing, and any other promotional requirements.
  • Organize special events that will generate great press and PR.
  • Monitor sportsbook Brand Standards to ensure compliance.
  • Manage marketing plans i.e. advertising (off-line) and co-ordinate on online marketing activity if required with Director of Marketing
  • Assist with the development of marketing budgets.
  • Oversee sportsbook photo shoots and manage photo libraries.
  • Develop and implement property marketing partnership opportunities and continuously focus on marketing initiatives to create customer loyalty and increase market share.
  • Create monthly reports to track the success of campaigns.
  • Ability to deliver strong print and collateral marketing materials.
  • Ability to work proficiently quickly in a high-pressure & fast paced environment.
  • Always maintain a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service oriented manner.
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain regular attendance as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the Sportsbook.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
  • Comply with regulations to encourage safe and efficient sportsbook operations.
  • Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.
  • Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.
  • Must be able to understand and evaluate complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of internal information.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.
  • Establish marketing goals based on past performance and market forecasts.
  • Oversee current offerings and comes up with initiatives for new products or services.
  • Research and analyze market trends, demographics, pricing schedules, competitor products, and other relevant information to form marketing strategies.
  • Adjust marketing campaigns and strategies as needed in response to collected data and other feedback.
  • Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies, and vendors.
  • Analyze consumer behavior and adjust email and advertising campaigns accordingly.
  • Travel when needed.

Qualifications

  • Hospitality oriented
  • Previous experience is a must.
  • Works independently, self-starter who is organized and detail oriented.
  • Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
  • Gaming and / or sports industry experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful marketing strategies for Sportsbook.
  • Strong presentation and communications skills
